Just returned from watching Accuracy of Death. Quite a light-hearted movie given that the film centers on the morbid theme of death. At a more innate level, i think the movie left the bulk of us feeling 'home-sick'. The movie probably also revived/exacerbated some of those withdrawal symptoms that we have been experiencing since we returned from japan. I, for instance, have been sleeping on the floor for the past few nights becuase i found the weather here, in contrast to Japan's, over-bearingly hot. I think now that i have watched Accuracy of Death , I probably be sleeping on the floor for the next couple of nights, dreaming of Manami Konishi as well hehe. I'm a bit releuctant to blog about the trip because i don't have all the photos with me and those i took on the first 2 days are a bit blurry on sides because of the camera. Nevertheless...my meomory is fading, slowly but surely hehe. Anyway, sh's blog has some really nice photos. Here i'll probably just (randomly) put a few and probably write a more detailed chronicle sometime later. To summarize about japan: Good weather, beautiful girls, polite people. Despite being a tad too cold on some of the days, particularly at Hakone (it was so cold that our breath was misty) and whenever it rained/drizzled, the weather there was pretty much ideal. We climbed Mount Takao without sweating much really. I personally thought that the cold weather was a nice surprise, we didn't really expected it too be so cold at this time of the year. As for the girls, out of 10, 4 are beautiful, another 3 are cute and another 2 are cute and pretty, what can one ask for more. I guess life will never be the same again haha. And the people there are really really polite. They (the slaes people) greet everyone whether or not you have any intention of purchasing. Also, everyone stands on the left of the escalator and queue up for the train. No auntie rushing to stand in front of the door, alighting passengers are always allowed to get off first on the metro. We have better trains but unfortunately, non existent train etiquette. The trip has changed mein some ways although i probably discuss in a later entry for now, just to reminisce the days back home haha.

The normal facet of society:
Hakone - Owakudni Hot springs. From the misty background, one can guess how cold it was. Anyway we bought a couple of 'black eggs' there. Supposedly (or rather according to cw), eating one egg increases your life by 10 years. Each of us (gw, cw, ym and me) ate one so i guess we get to live another 10 years more hehe. Actually i'll be happy to trade 10 years of my life for a wife like Manami Konishi. Now, if i ate 2 eggs then perhaps i can have 2 wives like Manami or perhaps 3 eggs...hehe i can't bear to extrapolate further haha.

Good looking arh. I meant the train hehe. Taking the shinkansen on our way back to tokyo from Hakone. I'm not too sure whats the speed of the train was other than being pretty fast haha. Nevertheless, you don't really feel the accelearation and probably feel nothing when the train reaches cruising speed since the laws of physics are invariant in any inertia frame of reference hehe.
On our way up Mount Takao. We decided to climb Mount Takao in an attempt to purify our souls, having received an overdose of pretty girls. No funny thoughts oh or you might meet the tengu. Actually the decent was much more exciting. There was this girl, dressed very fashionably, who was ascending when we were descending. That was really creepy beacuse the track we took on our way down was a trail i.e. cross country style, having to cross muddy tracks and along a stream. Plus it was around 4 pm and it was getting dark, we really wondered if she could make it up the summit on time and there's nothing on the summit. Local legend has it that the tengu lives in the forest there and has this ability to shapeshift into anything (pretty girls being on of them), playing pranks on bad bad monks who travelled in the forest in ancient times. List of 10 things you should try at least once in your life.

One of the shrines (Meiji - Jingumae) we visisted. On the extreme right is some local food fashioned in the image of the pagoda. The pagoda tasted pretty good though haha.
Disney Land. CW, gave us a lift in his car. Kind of small though, cannot pick up girls.
Just before we left (errh hmn... our hotel??) for narita airport hehe. All tired liao.
