yoz yoz yoz, I'm back after a brief hiatus. Well, the exams are over but somehow i don't quite feel the festive mood. The only thing i feel is lethargy. Maybe it's because of the relentless rain. It's been raining since cc left (for japan), and it's still raining now that she's back (i presume) and it will most likely continue to rain for the rest of the month. Yup, cc has nothing to do with the rain but still i do hope she brought back some presents to alleviate the gloom stemming from the lousy weather. Well i do like the rain but, as it is with all things, moderation should be key.
Well, been slacking since the exams ended a week ago. Haven't done anything substantial other than pigging out and sleeping which, coming to think of it, might not exactly be a vice since girls like their guys (and their accompanying wallets) fat. Before you think i'm making a hasty generalization, allow me to refer you to last sunday's edition of Life whereby one of the writers commented about the increasing trend of pretty girls going out with fat guys. Perhaps there's some evolutionary explanation for this: think it was reported in the papers today that fat (but healthy) guys live longer.
So, i say, why run so much particularly when the marathons are becoming increasingly commercialized (so much so that you can even buy the finisher tee at the adidas warehouse sale). With participation fees increasing, might as well use the money buy the tee and probably have left over cash to buy a matching pair of shorts. The glory has depreciated and now that running is a trend, its only a matter of time before the fad wears off.
In my context, i don't see much of a point in running lately, no emotional baggage or frustrations to vent, as it was the case when i first started running, in short running seems to have outlive its purpose (for me). Perhaps i should just concentrate on eating more and getting big lar and on my fyp as well. Went back to the lab once on monday. I think i really need to get started on my work and my weights as well and my pull ups but i just addicted to all the drama serials especially Witch Yoo Hee on Channel U at 10pm, kinda of cute the female protagonist (more so when together with the male protagonist), the chemistry is much more tangible relative to that btw ye xiang lun and lu xiao yu hahah.
