Now that i have thanked all my friends for their birthday presents. I guess it's only appropriate that I thank my mum for delivering me to receive all your presents haha. Ok, kind of crappy tonight. Anyway, got another birthday present today - a crumpler bag, from my mother of course!. Seriously, i think it's kind of extravagant for a bag, 200 bucks is indeed a bit too much for a bag. Nevertheless, now that it's in my arms or rather over my shoulders, i guess i'll make full use of it. Was a little apprehensive because the previous laptop bag that came with the comp gave up on me while i was on my way to school, the buckle simply snapped while i was racing for the train. Fortunately, i was able to grab hold of it in time before the bag slipped off my shoulders. Also, despite its generous padding, I continued to feel the full brunt of the weight thus giving rise to my reservations about sling bags. Before you conclude that i'm weak, you should really try carrying my bag; feels like i'm going to war when i load up with my comp, adaptor, mouse, file, textbook etc etc plus i don't really own a lightweight sony vaio oh.
Anyway tried carrying the crumpler with everything in it and was kind of surprised that it didn't feel that heavy. Perhaps the weight will set in once i start carrying it for prolonged periods. i guess i will find that out in time to come. Anyway, read a lot of good reviews about the bag online. Maded of ballistic nylon, the bag can stop 7.62mm rounds fired with a muzzle velocity of 880 m/s fired from a distance of 100m haha. Ok, the bag is made of industrial strength nylon but i'm not too sure if it can stop bullets anyway that's irrelevant. Even if the bag doesn't stop the bullets, my muscle will haha. Anyway i will put it to the test for the next 10 years, so wait for another 10 years to read the next review bah.
Finished watching Mo Nu You Xi over the weekend. Decided to do so because i wanted to weaned myself off ma you xi as soon as possible otherwise i can't concentrate on my work. Somehow the show's just addictive. It's not exactly about the pretty faces, although i must say the female protagonist is ... what can i say, unbelivable? Talking about pretty faces, Dennis Oh is really quite good looking, plus he can cook. I don't mind having a brother like him haha. Anyway, its probably more of the chemistry between the female and male protagonist that keeps me glued to the TV set. That subtle, inexplicable, intangible longing between the two (ficticious) characters (as acted out in reel life) which ironically defines love in real life (at least from my naive perspective).
Ok perhaps i'm single and desperate and that's why i'm addicted to such soapy dramas haha. Anyway trying to put on weight, i realised, demands a lot of discipline like eating 3 proper meals at the proper times and stuff. Ok laptop batt runing out, probably blog more where my experiment start yielding some results.
