Well it's the new year and is it really a must that i must start on a happy note or rather, an entry? Not that i'm feeling down but that there ain't that much interesting stuff going on these days to provide me any form of inspiration to start writing. Another possible explanation is that I'm just numbed by everything that's going on around me, don't want to care, don't want to know(as you know, things are getting very complicated or maybe they always have been). Hmn, sorry to lament so much. Anyway went out this couple of days, first with my mum to get a pair of shoes and today with xh and friends to do a bit of shopping.

Well, i'm going to start commenting on how shrewd a shopper i am, so if you think it;s going to bore you, click on the "close" button , don't and i repeat, don't click on any of the links to the other blogs, I hate them. Decided to get a pair of suede shoes or sneakers or whatever you call them so that i could wear my shirts to school. Such a strategy would allow me to forgo buying anymore new clothes for the bew year haha. What i mean is that, previously i had only a pair of leather shoes and two pairs of running shoes, while the leather shoes go down well with my shirts, i think they are a tad too formal for casual school wear whereas running shoes coupled with a shirt will make me look as if i just came from the country side hence i decided to buy a pair of sneakers to go with my shirts. Well they are leather but they look more relaxed, so i could wear my shirts to school without having look like a country bumpkin or some salesman. As for how shrewd a shopper i am, well i bought the pair of puma shoes at a 20% discount from C.K. Tang on the very last day of the sale haha the typical shopper will probably get it at Royal Sporting House which offers only a 15% discount, that translates to approximately $4.50 in savings. Not much hur but i think its significant enough at least to RSH because RSH gives a 20% off only on special occassions like maybe 1week before Xmas or my dog's bdae i don't know.

As for today's shopping trip? Hmn...kind of boring i would say because we weren't shopping for my stuff haha anyway it was kind of amusing seeing the girls shop. You should have seen the pace they walked from Taka to Paragon, simply astonishing! I must say it is my first time seeing girls walk so fast, i mean it's like usually when I think of girls shopping, the first impression that comes to my mind is snails crawling (hey it rhymes as well, girls shopping are akin to snails crawing). Well not that the incident qualifies as some unexplainable phenomenon, it was about 9pm and the shops were closing that probably sparked an adreanlin rush in them,

just that it was surprising, especially when i'm wearing Puma and KR his "shox", how can they be faster than us. Back to the amusing part, kind of comical seeing the girls explore the shoe shop, URS inc if you really must know the name, one them picked up a boot (like how a kid would pick up a toy, really), looked at the heel, fiddle around with it and probably said something to her friend (note that they probably didn't have the intention of buying those boots because on one hand, its not their style or rather they don't have the guts to wear those boots on the other hand those boots are so high that they probably will extend beyond the girls' knees haha if you know what i'm trying to get at here, i'm not listing names becasue i don't want to incur their wrath at the start of the year) and i was thinking hey don't they look like innocent kids who haven't seen a boot before, i mean it's like if a guy were to see the boot he would probably think "ok that's a boot" (or any other thing for that matter) and probably wouldn't go further to pick it off the shelf cause he knows he will never be getting one of those.

Ok, going to cycle tomorrow and i'm kind of looking forward to it or rather the sun, sand and sea. Don't ask me why i didn't invite you guys, i had been pushing for a cycling trip for some time but it seems you people aren't very keen so this time i cycling with two of my usp friends and pulling xh along. CC don't get upset, xh's just accompanying me and nothing else neither will i lead him astray nor intro him any girl, usually i keep them for myself, ok i'm lying, usually the girls would go speechless, fall down and run away when i say something to them so cc, you can be assured that i will keep the girls away from xh.

Talking about xihui, i think i have smiling at him on a rather frequent basis these days, so much so that ym was so upset that he had to leave early today under the pretext "i'm not feeling very well". Well, please don't misconstrue the purely platonic friendship between xh and me using that warped mind of yours, all those groudless gossip are starting to take a toll on poor ym. Haha Xh's like a teddy bear, very quiet and all you have to do is to put him in one corner and you'll start feeling happy,to the extent that you will start smiling to yourself. And yes, i don't really like teddy bears, remember i'm suppose to perpetuate that "all brawns and no brains...biceps biceps biceps" image. Ok, got to lift my weights soon and guess what i think i can think better after a bout of exercise. Hopefully i can bring myself to read that book i bought eons ago, aldous huxley's brave new world.
