Hmn...another week gone just like that. Went to church yesterday morning and probably going this coming weekend as well. For those of you who know me, i'm really not much of a christian because i don't go to church regularly, while others go on every sunday i go only twice a year i.e. during the holidays, kind of slack right. Well, i'm not exactly strong in my faith and usually i go to church to catch up with my friends and rid myself of that stifling feeling stemming from sin. Before you guys think that i'm there for the xmms, let me clarify, i'm not really into youth groups. My concept of church really is a peaceful sunday morning where i get to sit alone and just sing a couple of hymns and listen to the sermon. Besides, the service that i attend comprises primarily of senior citizens and working adults, very few teenagers maybe because they are all in the youth wing. I sound just like a retiree, ok while i may seem to be "out of sync" there is however a common trait that i share with the community there, a number of individuals there were formerly from SA, and its amusing to know that you have really old saints, followed by the middle aged ones (like my teacher) and maybe a handful of young adults like me and james and finally those still in SA all gathered in the same church and they are all really friendly like as if one big family. Anyway, i'm really relieved that i went to church yesterday, i feel a little more relieved of my sin, for a while i was hesistant to go to chruch and pick up my bible because i thought i would just burned and sizzle. No i'm not some religious fanatic, you don't need a religious background to be aware of sin, but rather i'm just a (decadent) individual in search of inner peace.
The rest of sunday went to a shopping trip with the causeway brudders and xmms. Well, the shopping trip didn't turn out to be as enjoyable as i expected, maybe it's because of this lingering tension maybe it's because of the "peculiar group dynamics", i don't know. Anyway things were exacerbated when i went to try on a shirt at topman. Well, the strategically placed spotlight illuminated me to the fact that i have a receding hairline! and its becoming obvious...sigh...all i wish is for a "quick death" so i can shave all my hair, probably swim and run faster with less drag. Anyway hopefully some day things will become better, maybe if i give my hair more water and sun, maybe if Dust were to be more...
Anyway, good to know you guys like the new song especially Choc. Brown Bro, actually i think the first two installments of "my date with a vampire" fare better than the current one, more realistic, although the story's meant to be a fiction in the first place, my date with a vampire 3 is a bit too far feteched. But we are all interested in just ma xiaoling and kuang tian you.
